This project focused on creating a highly functional and stylish utility space for a new build home in Batley. The client envisioned a clutter-free zone that would seamlessly integrate into their modern home, with a specific need to conceal laundry while maintaining accessibility. Andrew James Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms delivered a design that maximised efficiency and aesthetic appeal from the ground up.

A key feature of this utility room is the specialised laundry unit. Designed with half doors, it provides a clever solution for hiding laundry baskets, ensuring a tidy and organised space without sacrificing ease of use. Demonstrating a cohesive design approach, two of the door colours used in the adjacent kitchen were thoughtfully incorporated into the utility's door and worktop selections, creating a harmonious flow between the spaces without being overly matchy. This custom element illustrates our dedication to tailoring designs to meet the unique needs of each client, even in new construction, while ensuring design continuity throughout the home.

To accommodate a freestanding washer & dryer, we incorporated an extra-deep worktop, allowing the appliances to be neatly housed underneath and behind doors. This design choice contributes to the room's clean lines and streamlined appearance, essential for a modern new build.

Throughout the process, we utilised our CAD software to meticulously plan and execute the design. Our expert installation team ensured a flawless finish, bringing the vision to life with precision and care.
